10. Z.K. Taught Me That Miracles Ain’t Always Loud, Sometimes They Look Like Survival

He didn’t write a long story. Didn’t spill pages of pain or paragraphs of fear.

But sometimes the shortest stories hit the deepest because surviving something that should’ve taken you out doesn’t need a long explanation.

It shows up in your body. It shows up in your breath. It shows up in the way people look at you like, “Bruh, you’re still here.”

Z.K. got hit by a whole car and somehow walked away with just a broken wrist and a shoulder popped out of place.

That’s not luck. That’s coverage. That’s protection. That’s grace doing overtime. When he talks about it, he don’t sugarcoat nothing:

“If I talked to someone going through what I went through, I’d tell them God watches over everyone. You’re only still here because He had you. We got a guardian angel looking over us. Keep your head up.”

Hmmm.

Simple. Solid. Straight to the soul. Because when something slams into your life, literally, you learn quickly what matters. You learn who kept you standing. You learn you’re not out here alone even when you feel like it.

And when he wanted to give up? When the pain was loud and the fear was louder?

He leaned on three anchors:

prayer, scripture, and his circle.

His Bible kept his mind right. His people kept his spirit steady. And God kept his life intact.

His quote?

The classic that only survivors get to say with their chest:

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

And after what he survived?

Yeah, he earned that line.

To Z.K.:

Thank you for reminding us that every breath counts. Every miracle matters. Every close call is still a victory. You didn’t just survive, you left proof that protection is real and purpose don’t miss.
